I met Dee Dee in the early 90s. I was a huge Ramons fan. He came over to our apartment and he was absolutely delighted and super funny. He told us a many stories as you can imagine. Many years later he came to see our show in LA and he gave me a many compliments. I have to tell him that he was the template of what the rock should be and I am just on your footsteps. I have a huge respect for him. He passed soon after that. I am getting really emotional.
