When I lived in Tokyo in 1977, there was a famous billboard in the Harajuku fashion district. One day, it had a huge face of Bryan Ferry that was promoting his new album “In Your Mind”. I was a shining light of a superstar, blinding my eyes. This solo album features Chris Spedding on guitars—one of my favorite guitar players. I remember the billboard to this day. I finally got to see Roxy Music a couple of years ago. He made rock music sexy.
