When I arrived in NYC, it was like someone turned the whole city upside down. Everything was moving at full speed, all at once. Uptown was blasting disco and the Lower East Side was blasting AC/DC from the boom boxes. “Back in Black” was just released at the time. I was not aware of them before. I had just arrived from Japan. Back in Black blew my mind! Then I went backward into Bon Scott and AC/DC. Rock music was dangerous. Bon was awkward but honest and raw. When I heard “It's a Long Way to the Top (If you wanna rock n' roll) ", Bon played a bagpipe!!!!! I am a forever fan.
