It is our 35th ANNIVERSARY as a band.

Legendary artist and band leader, Kembra Pfahler, and a rocker roller Samoa formed the band in 1988 in NYC. Our first gig was at Pyramid Club on the Lower East Side in 1988. We have been performing all over the US and the world ever since. Our live shows are a unique experience combining visual art and music, and this year makes our 35th year as a band. This band is our flesh and blood.

In the middle of last year, Samoa got his hands on a Gibson Flying V guitar and it knocked him out and inspired him to rock harder. This is a true story. We have been working on new songs with our new drummer, Eric Robel, and our longtime friend and bass player, Gyda Gash. We are working in the studio to make a 35th anniversary special album and plan to release it as vinyl and digital.

Financing the project has been rather difficult, since we don’t belong to any music label. However, it will be a historic achievement if we could complete our project with your support. We love all the people who have been coming to see us play and showing us support all these years. It keeps us going. We are asking if you can help us make this historic album, and we would like to offer the following in exchange:

For contributions over $75 : a hand-drawn and handwritten thank-you letter (it’s not ordinary letter).

For contributions over $125: a copy of the signed vinyl album along with a thank-you letter.

For contributions over $250, in addition to the previously mentioned rewards, your photo (thumb nail) will be included on the album (if you desire).

For contributions over $1000: you will receive your choice of an original Kembra Pfahler butt painting or your portrait painted by Samoa.
